CCAFC 24 HOUR

CCAFCS 24-HOUR FOOTBALL MATCH IN AID OF THE RAPE AND SEXUAL ABUSE COUNSELLING CENTRE

This year, Collingwood College AFC are once again carrying out a 24-hour football match to raise both funds and awareness for the Rape and Sexual Abuse Counselling Centre for Darlington and County Durham.

RSACC is a charity run by and for women, working to end rape and sexual violence in Darlington and County Durham by supporting and empowering women and girls. Demand for their counselling service is higher than ever, making the funds that we can raise crucial.

The match will kick off at midday on Thursday the 9th of June, and end at midday on Friday the 10th. It will take place at Collingwood College, South Road, Durham, DH1 3LE.

This year, CCAFC would like to involve the local community more than in previous years – so, if you have connections to a youth football club local to Collingwood college that would like to come along and play some football for an hour or two on the day, please get in touch with them at: christopher.o.mageean@durham.ac.uk

If you would like to donate, please do so via the JustGiving page here – all funds raised will go towards providing survivors of sexual violence with the support they need.
