Durham County FA are in the process of recruiting new members to join our Inclusion Advisory Group (IAG).
The purpose of the IAG, which is a voluntary role, is to increase; awareness, understanding and knowledge of equality, diversity and inclusion so that our organisation can engage with our members and therefore meet the needs of all of our local football communities to ensure Football is For All.
Your role will be to advise and support DCFA staff on your area of specialism of work (can be found in the application form) which will be aligned to, but not solely consisting of the following priorities identified from our equality profile audit;
- Promote Football as an inclusive Sport For All & Tackle Discrimination
- Education & Awareness Raising
- Coaching – Increase numbers from under- represented groups.
- Refereeing – Increase numbers from under-represented groups.
- Increase playing opportunities for Females / Males O35’s
