NEW WILDCATS COMMUNITY CHAMPION- ALAN EVANS

We are pleased to announce Alan Evans as the new Community Champion for Durham FA who will look to support Weetabix Wildcats providers and their coaches/ volunteers to ensure that they are able to provide quality experiences to their participants.

Alan has vast amounts of experiences and knowledge to bring to the programme through being an UEFA B qualified coach, being an FA Tutor for 6 years, an FA Mentor for 4 years and supporting the delivery of the Weetabix Wildcats programme at Hebburn Town Juniors for the last year.

The FA has introduced this new role to support Weetabix Wildcat providers and to recruit more coaches into the game to support the growing number of females taking up the game. Alan will look to work closely with Durham FA at what is an exciting time for women and girl’s football both locally and nationally.
