GATESHEAD & DISTRICT SUNDAY LEAGUE 2022–2023

Following meetings with interested parties the Gateshead & District Sunday League is looking to commence from August 2022.

WHAT WILL BE NEW

• The Management Committee (MC) of the League will be made up of Club representatives, independents and two members of DCFA
  
• The MC will agree league rules in line with the FA Standard Code of Rules (SCOR)
  
• All administration will be on line and organised by the Durham County FA (DCFA)
  
• All player registrations will be on the FA Club Portal with DCFA staff assisting
  
• Referees appointed by the league

Following the league ceasing all remaining funds were returned to the Durham County FA to be used on incentives to recommence the league therefore for the 2022–2023 season:

• There will be NO League or Cup Entry fees
• Financial assistance may be provided towards facility costs

Depending on number of teams applying the league format will be agreed by the participating teams and MC.
