Club Support Workshops - FA Medical Emergency Action Planning
The purpose of these workshops is to train additional people at each Club in creating an action plan for their venue/site so they can react effectively in the event of a serious (life threatening) medical incident. These workshops will cover roles and responsibilities to be considered such as, who is responsible for communicating with the Emergency Services, guiding the ambulance to the pitch, ensuring the access is clear etc. things that the first aider can’t do as they will be busy administering First Aid to the casualty. Clubs will also be assisted in producing their own action plan on the night which will be specific to their Club in the event of an emergency. In essence – is your Club prepared?!
The following workshop options are available and due to a number of Clubs having difficulties in opening attachment forms I’m trailing a new way for Clubs to book their place.

This new process is phone and tablet friendly so should make booking simpler and less time consuming. I would also greatly appreciate your feedback on the new way of booking. Places are limited and must be booked in advance. These workshops are free of charge to all Charter Standard Clubs affiliated to Durham County FA and will count towards your clubs Charter Standard criteria for In-Service Training.
Please avoid sending just your designated First Aider if possible.
