Durham FA Community and Inclusion League

Great end to the Durham FA Community Inclusion League Season

The final fixtures were played on 23rd May at Goals Sunderland. Both divisions were very tight at the top so it was all down to the games on the day.

Division one proved to be very competitive, providing some entertaining football. It was very close between Wearside Warriors and Autism Able with the latter coming out on top.

Wearside Warriors Autism Able

Eco Warriors South Tyneside Ability FC

Sunderland College  Durham FA Community and Inclusion League

Division two proved to be another fantastic league with only a couple of points between 2nd, 3rd and 4th place. The results on the day would determine who would come out on top. With the winners already decided as South Tyneside Ability FC the runners up position went to Eco Warriors our new team to the league this season, just edging out Beacon.

With thanks to Durham FA referees Tim and Colin who picked our players of the tournament. Players were selected across both divisions with the winners being selected on merit of best attitude and outstanding commitment. These were players from the member teams of Autsim Able, South Tyneside Ability FC & Sunderland College.

With thanks to Goals Sunderland for hosting the league, we wish to thank the member teams. All games were played in great spirits and lots of support.

We will see you all next season fixtures, for any new teams wishing to know any more information please get in touch with Andrea on;
