Job Opportunity - Coach Development Officer (Women and Girls Football) at Northumbria University
Northumbria University are working in collaboration with the FA to seek an accomplished individual to lead and drive the development of coaches in the North East of England, working at both grassroots and the elite level of the women’s and girls’ game.
Your role will be to drive collaboration between Northumbria University, local football providers and County FA’s, to support the successful development of an effective coach development programme to provide female players with high quality coaching. To develop the provision of women’s and girl’s football across the institution, with specific focus on supporting student recruitment whilst developing the student workforce; coaches, officials and sport science support. To support the Head of Women’s Football in developing the football offer from participation to performance.
Northumbria are looking for an individual who is experienced in coaching and the development of young player/coach related programmes with an understanding of key FA learning philosophies. A knowledge and understanding of the FA Women’s Football Strategy and National Game strategy is essential.
The Ideal candidate will hold a UEFA B Coaching licence.
