New President announced at Durham FA
We are delighted to announce that Mel Spedding has taken over the role as President/Chairman of the Durham FA.
Mel was elected to the Durham FA Council in 1995 as the North East Divisional representative and then took over the role of Vice President for that area 2015. Mel was elected to the Board of Directors on 12th September 2013 where he still holds an active role.
Mel stated "It is an honour to be elected as President/Chairman of the Durham FA, and I will strive to ensure that the County FA and especially grassroots football continues to improve and provide an opportunity for our many volunteers and participants no matter what their background or abilities are".
