Referee Registration 2018-19 Season

Once again we approach the end of another season and we would like to thank all referees on behalf of the Association and especially the Referees Committee for the tremendous amount of work they have carried out during that time.

Re-Registration

The registration process is available from 19th March 2018. The Registration fee remains at £20. We would encourage referees to use the FA’s Whole Game System, the address for this is https://wholegame.thefa.com/Account/Login you will require your FAN No and your email address must match our records, alternatively if you would like to complete this via a form please click the link below.

Equality & Diversity – This is a part of the online process which everybody must complete, for which there are 5 questions to be answered.

To ensure your details are entered in to online handbook your details and payment must be processed no later than 1st June 2018, included in your payment are Public Liability cover, and automatic entry into the Benevolent Fund, in the event of you being injured during a game, and providing it is within the criteria (the main one being that all applications are submitted within one month of the date of the injury) relating to the fund a weekly sum may be paid.

CRC (Formerly CRB): All Referees who officiate in Youth Football must have a CRC which is no older than 3 years. Should you be officiating in Youth Football you will need to have a CRC completed.

Un-affiliated Football: It is up to each individual Referee to ensure they are officiating in Affiliated Football, otherwise insurance cover may be void. Should you have any queries regarding any competition, friendly etc please contact the Association.

Promotion: Any Referee wishing to be entered in to the Promotion system must apply no later than 30th March 2018 and submit a fee of £25. The criteria for promotion is well documented in the County Handbook or is available on request by email to Kerry.Topping@DurhamFA.com

County Cup Appointments: There is a new section under the products and Referees MUST state whether they wish to be considered for appointments or not.

County Leagues: The Association administers the following Leagues: Saturday (am) U14s, U15s and U16s U17s, Saturday (pm) U18s and Sunday (pm) U23s and Women’s. If you are interested in officiating in these please contact Mark.Smith@DurhamFA.com
