Durham FA Disability England Talent Day
Durham FA is pleased to announce that we will once again, be able to provide an additional playing opportunity above club level. March will see us host a disability England Talent Day for aspiring youth disability footballers for the 2017/18 season.
The England Talent Day is the entry point to the FA Disability Pathway; it will also allow us to identify players with a disability in currently playing in mainstream football or education, that for some reason, they may not want to be found. Through the promotion of player recruitment phase over the next couple of months it will give us the opportunity to raise the awareness of the Disability Pathway available to players with a disability.
The day will consist of a short welcome introduction, followed by a two-hour football session which will include a series of drills and games delivered by fully qualified Coaches.
Following the Talent Day, players maybe then selected and invited to join their respective impairment specific Regional Talent Hubs for the season.
