How Durham FA Support, Grow and Develop the Female Game - Free Workshop
Durham FA are delighted to host an evening seminar to provide information on the exciting plans to continue the development of the female game.
This seminar will look at what exciting opportunities are available over the
coming seasons in the following areas of the female game;
- Coach Education
- Coach Support and Development
- Current Playing Opportunities (Both recreational and organised football)
- New Player Pathways
After the initial presentations there will be opportunities to discuss the above in more detail as there will be a number of County FA and FA Staff available who will be delighted to answer questions.
To support coaching in the female game we will be working with the Women’s High Performance Football Centre. In line with the vision and objectives outlined in the FA Strategy for women’s and girls’ football, The Football Association recently launched eight Women’s High Performance Football Centres across England, of which Northumbria University is one. A key role for the centre at Northumbria is to drive collaboration across the North East region to successfully support The FA’s ambition to increase the number of qualified coaches and improve the quality of coaching, both central to the growth of the women’s and girls’ football.”
