DURHAM COUNTY FA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE CUP 2018/19

We are delighted to announce the first season of the Durham County FA Champions League Cup.

The above competition has resulted from meetings with Durham FA affiliated Leagues and interested Clubs.

The original intention was to run a County Champions League which would consist of the top teams in each of our 10 Sunday Leagues competing against each other. 

However due to some opposition and lack of interest it was decided to offer the opportunity to teams that finished first or second in their League.

A meeting was held with those teams and it was agreed that we would run a Champions League Cup which would commence with a group stage and the winners and runners up of each group going into Semi Finals and then a Final.

The Association intends to run this on an annual basis for those Clubs that finished first in their top division if enough interest is shown and if not we will review criteria required.

Below gives further details on this seasons Cup.

Entry into the competition is FREE.

The winners will be presented with the Durham FA Champions League Cup and will also receive £200.00.
Runners Up will receive £100.00.
Beaten Semi Finalists will receive £50.00 each.
