In the past The County FA has held talks with clubs to try and administer an U21/U23 11-A-Side League.

Although some clubs have shown an interest, the proposal has never come to fruition.

We wish you to consider the following suggestions which may help towards forming such a league and be a benefit to teams within the National League System.

1. Fixtures played midweek

2. Teams to be provided with two fixtures per month and they arrange the date & time to be played, with the Association providing the match officials

3. A sponsor for the league to be sought which would result in no league fees being charged

4. Consideration be given to the playing of 2 or 3 over-age players

Can we ask that your club consider this as a possible way of providing players leaving U18 leagues the opportunity continuing in football.
