    •

Want to play 11-a-side football but in a flexible format you can fit around your lifestyle?

Well, Durham County FA’s Friday Night Flexible Football League is kicking off again on Friday 13th October at Silksworth Sports Complex, Sunderland. Spaces are still available for new teams to enter by contacting Durham County FA Football Development Officer Paul Jarps on 0191 3872928 (option 2 followed by option 4) or via e-mail Paul.Jarps@DurhamFA.com

The league will provide opportunities to play 11 v 11 football for players who have dropped out of the game, struggle with regular weekend commitment, or just want to play football in less time and with less fuss. Some of the benefits of joining Durham County FA Flexible Football League include:

• No annual team entry fee
• £30.00 per team, per fixture (less than £3 per player)
• 3G floodlit pitch
• Played at a time convenient for you
• 50 minute fixtures (25 minutes each way)
• Repeated substitutions
• FA qualified referees appointed by League
• Minimal weekly team administration
• Shorter seasons
• Unlimited squad size

The league takes place on Friday evenings, a time which has proved popular across the country being the end of the ‘working week’ and particularly popular with workplace teams, groups of friends and teams who may have folded in recent years.

We are also in the process of looking to increase the number of Flexible Football leagues across Durham County FA’s region during 2017 and beyond and welcome partner organisations working with us to promote, organise and deliver leagues in their local area.

To enter a team in Durham County FA’s Friday Night Flexible Football league starting on Friday 13th October 2017 or to discuss opportunities to be involved with Flexible Football contact Durham County FA Football Development Officer Paul Jarps on 0191 3872928 (option 2 followed by option 4) or via e-mail Paul.Jarps@DurhamFA.com.
