Insurance

    •
As you are aware, all clubs that affiliate to Durham County Football Association are provided, as part of the affiliation process, with Public Liability Insurance.

The Durham County FA Ltd has dealt with UKGlobal Risk Solutions Limited (formerly COBRA Corporate Solutions Limited) for several years and has found the service provided to be both professional and efficient. Any claims are dealt with immediately and take away the added pressure claims can cause.

As well as our affiliated Leagues and Clubs, the cover also applies to registered Referees of the association and also ‘stand-in’ Referees.

The 2015/16 Season will continue to provide a Limit of Indemnity of £10m and the cover will continue to automatically include the valuable player-to-player extension for Clubs. Without this extension players and clubs could be left exposed to the legal defence costs and awards arising from legal action taken by injured parties. Those costs amount on average to £25,000 and in many cases much more.

The policy also includes as standard Professional Indemnity and Directors & Officers liability with a £10m limit of indemnity.

If you need to provide evidence of this cover please contact Durham County FA on 0191 3872929 and a copy of the Verfication will be issued.

If you are holding a tournament or you are going on tour abroad, you should contact Fiona Lavery at UKGLOBAL to ensure the policy will cater for your requirements. You can contact Fiona on 01252 734539 or by email fiona.lavery@ukglobalgroup.co.uk
