Friendlies and Tournaments

Friendlies and Tournaments

Preparing for the new season? Make sure you check the following article for more information regarding tournaments and friendlies.

Friendlies

Following contact from several Clubs we have been asked to clarify the situation regarding the process in relation to playing friendly fixtures.

All teams playing friendlies must contact The Durham County Football Association providing details of both teams, match official, date, venue and kick off time.

These details are required to ensure the fixture is logged in case of any insurance matters which may occur from it.

Any teams playing in a friendly must ensure that both teams and the match official are affiliated/registered for the 2016/2017 season and have Public Liability and Player Personal Accident Insurance cover in place.

The aforementioned is there to protect Clubs and Players.

To request permission for a friendly please download a request form using the download button below and return to Kerry.Topping@DurhamFA.com or Bradley.Fearnley@DurhamFA.com at least 4 clear days before your friendly.
