EXPRESSION OF INTEREST TO BECOME A WILDCATS CENTRE

HAVE FUN, MAKE FRIENDS, PLAY FOOTBALL. RAISE AN EXPRESSION OF INTEREST TO BECOME A WILDCATS CENTRE IN DURHAM COUNTY

Durham FA are actively seeking for new clubs/ organisation to become Wildcat centres from April 2021. The Wildcat programme was designed to inspire girls aged between 5-11 to be involved in football. Wildcats Girls’ Football Centres provide girls with regular opportunities to play football and take part in organised sessions in a fun and engaging environment.

Durham FA supported the delivery of 39 Wildcat Centres in 2019-20 and are looking to introduce further Centres in 2020-21 to further enhance to growth of girl’s football across Durham County. Due to the number of centres we have in specific areas we will only be accepting expression of interests from clubs/ organisation within the following areas (Stanley, Coxhoe, Crook, Seaham, Murton, Peterlee, Wingate, Darlington, Sedgefield and Stockton, Barnard Castle, Wolsingham).
What Benefits Are There To Being An SSE Wildcats Centre?

Organisations that become an approved Wildcats Centre can access various benefits that include;
• Access to a start-up grant of £900 (£600 for first year delivery, £300 for second year delivery)
• FA Coach Mentor support
• Kit and Equipment
• National marketing and branding to support the launch of your centre

Failure to submit an expression of interest will result in you not being able to submit an application to become a new centre.
