GATESHEAD & DISTRICT SUNDAY LEAGUE - SEASON 2020-2021

Durham County FA have held discussions with the Gateshead & District Sunday League to administer the league next season.

The Gateshead and District Sunday league are looking for teams for the 2020/2021 season. To help teams following the impact of COVID-19 entry into the league will be free and there will be no league fees to pay.

Administration will be kept to the minimum and will all be done electronically through the Durham County FA.

John Topping Durham County FA Secretary stated "We need to keep football going in the Gateshead and surrounding areas and with our involvement we will be able to make the administration of the league as easy as possible. The league have agreed that there will be no cost towards league fees next season and it is hoped that with our involvement the existing teams will remain and any new teams will apply"
