Durham FA is delighted to announce that 27 new SSE Wildcats Centres are coming to the county in 2019.
With the success of the SSE Wildcat project for Durham in 2017 and 2018 this year we have seen our largest allocation yet. We have 27 brand new centres to add to our existing 9 centres, totalling 36 centres for 2019. SSE Wildcats provides a fun, safe and enjoyable introduction to football for girls aged 5- 11 years old. The session consists of one hour session per week and offers a real fun introduction to football.
Linking up with local FA Charter Standard Clubs and private provide to deliver our programme we hope to ensure that this year will be the biggest and most successful year of the SSE Wildcats Programme. Local training will go underway in the next few weeks for our local centres to attend, we hope to upskill all our coaches involved and ensure we deliver the best programme possible.
All sessions are due to start officially in April and we continue throughout the summer months. All coaches delivering the sessions are FA qualified and hold in date Safeguarding and First Aid Checks.
