Ref:005 Sunderland Regional Talent Club (RTC) Technical Director
The Foundation of Light are looking to appoint a Technical Director for season 2019-20 as maternity cover (ending 31 May 2020). One of only 13 Regional Talent Clubs to carry Tier 1 status, Sunderland RTC is an essential pillar of the FA Girls' England Talent Pathway and is part-funded by the FA and supported by Durham County Football Association.
The RTC is recognised as one of the best in the country based on a number of factors including facilities, quality of coaching, education and coach and player development.
Players take part in a comprehensive training programme covering all areas and concepts of football, with teams taking part in the RTC Tier 1 North League against elite clubs including Liverpool, Manchester City and Manchester United.
This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to continue the growth of women and girls football in the North East.
Successful applicants must hold the UEFA A Licence and have a valid FA Coach Licence. The role requires approximately 16 hours per week and includes working evenings and weekends.
