On the 1st February we will be launching our new Coach Education Programme supported by the Big Lottery for a period of 3 years (please see 'Related Documents' for more information). The programme will be specific to coaches working within FA Charter Standard Clubs that are affiliated to Durham FA only. The programme is designed to reduce the cost barrier associated with FA Charter Standard Clubs training their volunteers in a difficult economic climate and support FA Charter Standard Clubs that are establishing new teams. We will also be launching a programme specifically to support FA Charter Standard Leagues.
The following Terms and Conditions will apply to ensure the programme is not being abused:
• Club must be affiliated to Durham County FA
• Club must have a signed off and fully completed FA Charter Standard Club Health Check (Coach must be added to Club Records through Member Services)
• All application forms for a bursary must be co-signed by a club secretary, otherwise application form will be returned.
• If candidates fails to complete course, FULL COST will be charged
• The course fee must be paid upfront or invoice settled within 3 months from the course start date otherwise the FULL COST will be incurred.
All applications will be checked against the FA Charter Standard Club Health Check to ensure the coach accessing the bursary is (or will be upon completion of the course) an active coach within that FA Charter Standard Club.
As stated previously the programme is for a duration of 3 years, after which point course fees will revert back to up to date costs.
