The game continues to grow after the success of the Women's World Cup in 2007 with over 1.9m tuning in for the quarter final against USA, there has never been a better time to get involved in women & girls football in Durham County.
Three women and girls officers cover the Durham County FA area to support the development of the game at all levels.
Ian Skinner is based at Northumberland CFA and is available to help and offer support to anybody who wishes to play or get involved in girl's football in the Wear side of the County.
Lindsey Robinson is based at County Durham Sport at Durham City Council and offers the same level of support for the County Durham area of the County.
Paul Kreczak is based at with Tees Valley Sport at Teesside University and offers the same level of support for the Tee’s area of the County.
